I’m Passionate
I have always had a passion for design, dating back to elementary school years where I would create all types of crafts, artwork and jewelry. Later in middle school and high school, I discovered Microsoft Paint, where I taught myself to create my own clipart and images to be used in presentations or digital drawings. In parallel, I also learned basic web design to create web pages on a very popular social media application. At the time, I did not know that this love for design and coding would lead me to where I am today. I went on to Morgan State University where I studied Graphic Design and became very skilled at Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Afterwards, I became a master of HTML and CSS. To me, web design is the best of both worlds. It allows me the opportunity to be creative, and it also requires technical skills to get the job done. I absolutely love what I do and am always excited for a new challenge.
I’m Personable
It is always my goal to learn what my client needs in order to produce the best solution. I enjoy having in-depth client sessions, advanced user sessions or simple conversations to gain a clearer understanding of requirements and expectations.
I’m Professional
I’ve had the pleasure of working for Georgetown University for over four years as a web master. Then I worked for Turner Consulting Group as a web designer for the federal government. I recently earned my graduate certificate in Information Design from the University of Baltimore where my main focus was on user research and developing user-centric interfaces. I currently work for Monster Government Solutions as an Interaction Designer. In addition, I have successfully completed several free-lance projects.
